The discharge of our SF Models is a completely enclosed unit. The drive chain operates in an oil bath and the top of the flighting shaft is attached by means of a cast iron hub.
Lower End.
The infeed end features a strong safety screen as well as a flange bearing to center the shaft. Integral to the lower end is a clevis hitch. The entire hitch flips out of the way during auger operation.
Drives.
A PTO drive is standard on all augers. The gearbox can be turned so the tractor can be placed on either side of the auger. An optional electric drive kit including motor mount, driven pulley, belts, and belt guard is available for 10" models.
Two Way Winch.
Our winch allows for cranking up as well as down. This provides for easy and safe operation-no matter who is using the auger!
